- The air filter housing is located on the driver side of the car.
- Loosen the four housing screws on the plastic air intake box.
- Do not try to remove these screws from the intake box, as they are not designed to be removed.

- Loosen the hose-clamp on the air intake tube located on the side of the air intake box.
- Remove the air intake tube from the intake box.

- Gently lift the top off of the air intake box.

- Remove the air filter from the housing and inspect it.
- If it can not be cleaned, then it should be replaced with a new one.
