2013-2016 Scion FR-S Engine Air Filter Replacement

This guide will take you through how to swap out the engine air filter in your 2013-2016 Scion FR-S (aka Toyota gt86.) A dirty air filter can cause your car to lose power and reduce the miles per gallon.

Dealerships recommend that you replace the engine air filter every 15,000-30,000 miles, depending on the driving conditions.
