2012 Ford Fusion Brake Light Replacement

Make sure that the car has been off for 15 minutes because the brake light bulb may be hot.

  • Locate the button that opens the trunk

  • Locate plastic fasteners and remove with door panel remove tool/flathead by prying them off

  • Pull tab and remove trunk cover

  • On the inside of the trunk remove the side panel to locate the brake light bulb

  • Pull the Brown housing that holds the brake light

  • Remove brake light from housing by pulling it out gently and replace with new bulb

To reassemble your taillight bulb, follow these instructions in reverse order.
