  • Engine oil can be scalding hot! If your engine is warmed up, wait a few minutes to allow the oil to cool before beginning.

Changing the oil filter

  • '''''As the oil drains, get out from under your car and take off oil filter. Make sure the old gasket comes off with old oil filter. If not, remove from engine. Then add some oil to the gasket of the new filter via your finger. Then scew onto engine but do not over tighten.'''''

Checking the oil
