2017 Kia Niro Headlight Replacement

This guide gives step-by-step instructions to replace the XtraVision Fog Light/Headlight Bulb 9005XV-2 in a 2017 Kia Niro. Fog Light/Headlight bulb usually burns out after 1000 hours and it needs to be replaced but some others last for 30000 hours. When replacing Fog Light/Headlight Bulb 9005XV-2 in a 2017 Kia Niro, Fog Light/Headlight Bulb should be changed in pairs.   • Open the hood of the vehicle and make sure it is secured to prevent injury.

  • Locate the bulb cover cap which can be found under the hood and directly behind the headlight.

  • Remove the bulb cover cap by rotating it counter-clockwise until it is fully detached.

  • Place the cap in a location that is out of the way of your work area and where you can easily find it.

  • Remove the old bulb by rotating counter-clockwise until it is detached, being careful not to drop the bulb into the hood of the vehicle.

  • Prepare your replacement XtraVision Fog Light/Headlight Bulb 9005XV-2 for installation by removing it from the packaging and ensuring that the bulb is not broken.

  • Insert the new bulb by pushing it into the bulb compartment.
  • Turn the bulb clockwise until it is secure.

  • Reattach the cap you previously set aside by rotating clockwise until secure.
