Step-by-step instructions
- Remove the two plastic caps by placing a spudger in the bottom opening and gently prying upward.
- Remove the two 6 mm Phillips #2 screws located underneath each of the plastic caps by twisting counterclockwise.
- Hold the latch down firmly and pull the tail light cover off the vehicle.
- You may have to apply a back and forth force to remove the cover.
- Remove the light bulb socket from the vehicle by gently twisting and pulling it out of the tail light cover.
- Twist the light bulb counterclockwise and pull to remove it from the socket.
- Insert the new light bulb by gently pushing the light bulb into the socket and twisting clockwise.
- When reassembling, make sure to align the tail light cover up to the back of the vehicle before pushing the cover back on.
