1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Air Filter Replacement

Use this guide to replace an old engine compartment air filter in a 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The engine compartment air filter traps dirt, bugs and other particles and prevents them from entering the engine. A broken filter would allow debris to enter the engine and damage internal components. Old filters restrict the air flow into the intake, causing the internal combustion process of the engine to be significantly reduced, and intern lowering the cars fuel economy.

Before using this guide, make sure you have the right replacement air filter for your Jeep. Here is a helpful website to find the right one - 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Air Filter Replacement.
