This guide shows you how to replace your air conditioning’s refrigerant in the 2011 Ford Focus and your car back to feeling the way it used to. Before you start, your vehicle should be at room temperature, and proper care should be taken for your safety.
Be sure to place your car in park and engage the parking brake.

- Open your car's hood.

- Locate the low-pressure charging port.

- Remove the cap by turning it counter-clockwise.

- Connect the nozzle and hold the canister at a 3 o'clock angle.
- Warning: Keep an eye on the PSI level. It should stay between 30 and 50, as going beyond 50 psi could cause the car's compressor to become damaged.
- Lock and remove the canister if it is around 40 to prevent it from going to 50 psi.
- Finally, start up the car. If the air conditioning is cooler, you'll know that it works!
