- Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the single screw, disconnecting the power to the battery.

- Pull the bulb's plug directly out of its port.

- Remove the outer rubber boot by pulling it towards yourself.

- While pushing down on the silver pin, pull the bulb directly out of its socket without turning.

- Wear latex or nitrile gloves when handling the new bulb.
- Insert the new bulb into the empty socket and secure it by gently pushing it into place until properly seated.
