Replacing 1995-1999 Dodge Neon Spark Plugs

This is a walk through of how to replace the spark plugs in a Dodge Neon. This demonstration is on a 1998 model.

  • The air vent is covering 4 spark plugs.
  • Twist off the wing nut on the left (see hand in photo).
  • The big plastic art with the "SO??" marked on it just lifts up and out
  • It sounds like you are breaking something but you are just disconnecting it from the air filter housing.

  • There are numbers on the top of the engine with wires going to the four spark plugs in the front of the engine (between the oil dipstick and the oil repository).
