- The lift points are designed for a jack with a slit (like the jack supplied by the manufacturer). The use of a floor jack without a suitable tip is likely to bend or break the metal at these points.

Remove the engine cover
- Undo the 10mm bolt securing the plastic engine cover.

Drain the oil
- Lift the dipstick cap.
- Place a drain pan below the drain plug.
- Loosen the drain plug using a 13mm wrench, then finish removing it by hand.

Unscrew the oil filter
- loosen the oil filter by hand or with the help of a filter wrench.
- First drain the vehicle: the original filter is very tightly applied at the factory and is impossible to unscrew by hand. To remove it a tool is necessary.
- Risk of burns: the exhaust system is very close to the oil filter.
- On working days go purchase a filter wrench if necessary
- On Sundays or holidays when you can't purchase one... Use a thick, strong screwdriver and hammer to deeply pierce the filter and use it as a lever, as in the photo. Repeat as necessary until you can remove the filter by hand.

- The original gasket is silicone. It should ideally be replaced.
- Tighten the drain plug to a moderate torque (30 to 50 nm).

Install the new filter
- Pre-fill the oil filter with new oil.
- Lightly lubricate the o-ring of the filter with the oil used to fill it.
- Tighten the filter by hand so as to be able to unscrew it more easily next time.
- Manufacturer: tighten the oil filter to a torque of 14Nm with a filter wrench.

Reinstall the engine cover
- Replace the engine cover and tighten the 10mm bolt moderately.

Fill the crankcase with oil
- Lower the vehicle
- Fill the crankcase with engine oil until it reaches the maximum level.

First start
- Start the engine and let it run a few moments to allow the filter to fill and the oil spread throughout the whole block.
- Stop the engine and wait a few minutes the oil to flow down into the oilpan.
- Check the oil level and adjust if needed.
Conclusion
