Rear axle and suspension springs
- All screws and bolts are for single use only!
- Twingo III models use a so-called "de Dion" axle.
- Replacing the lower and upper spring pads is recommended when replacing the suspension springs.

This exploded view shows the main elements of the rear suspension of a Renault Twingo III: De Dion axle, springs, and shock absorbers. The screws and bolts indicated in the guide are single-use and must be replaced during reassembly.

Rear shock absorbers
- Lower shock absorber fastener screw, ref. 7703602253 for single use.
- The upper fasteners are not shown here but are also for single use.
- The shock absorbers are available in oil or gas versions.
