If it's time to change the cabin air filter on your Honda CRV 2017–2022, use this guide to replace the cabin air filter.
A cabin air filter helps filter out dust, pollen, and smog from entering the interior of your vehicle when using the A/C or heating. A dirty cabin air filter will restrict the amount of air flowing from the vents, causing the HVAC system to work harder.
Before beginning, make sure your vehicle and the A/C or heating are turned off.
Step-by-step instructions

- On the right side of the glovebox, push the lever back.

- Push in on each side of the glovebox and lower it down.

- Remove the cover on the air filter by pushing in on the tabs on the sides.

- Gently pull the old cabin air filter out.

- Insert the new cabin air filter in.
- ***The arrows should be pointing down when you insert the new filter .***

- Put the cover back on the filter.

- Push in on both sides of the glovebox while lifting it up.

- Clip the lever back onto the glovebox.

- Close the glovebox.
