- Cover the windshield with a towel or blanket to avoid shattering the windshield if the wiper arms come down accidentally after the blades are removed.

- The wiper blades are typically connected to the wiper arm with a hook type of closure. Lift the plastic cover and slide the wiper backward to disconnect and carefully remove it. Repeat for the other side.

- Unpackage your replacement wiper blades, and carefully lift the plastic cover covering the hook connector.

- Slide the hook from the wiper arm into the wiper blade and tug slightly until securely connected. Replace the cover and repeat on the other side.

- Remove the towel from the windshield and lower the wiper arms back onto the windshield.

- Test the wiper blades to ensure they're securely connected and working properly.
