Пошаговая инструкция
- Lift the cap off and set it to the side.
- You will see four ignition coils. For this tutorial, we will only replace one of the sockets.
- Remove the ignition coil connector by pushing down on the end of the clip and unplugging it.
- Unscrew the bolt on the other end of the socket plug using the 10 mm socket wrench.
- Remove the ignition coil to reveal the spark plug cavity.
- Remove the adapter and 10mm socket from the socket wrench and replace it with the 6" extension adapter and spark plug socket
- Too much force can cause your spark plug to crack. Unscrew it carefully to ensure no debris falls into the hole.
- Insert a 6" extension adapter and spark plug socket wrench into the cavity where your spark plug is located. Make sure it reaches and securely grabs onto the spark plug.
- Remove the spark plug by pulling the socket wrench towards you, and loosen it until it unscrews completely.
- To be safer, start by using the wrench to loosen it, then remove the wrench handle and unscrew it the rest of the way with your hands.
- Lift the wrench and the spark plug out of the cavity.
- After you remove the old spark plug, take out your new spark plug and remove its plastic protector.
- Once you remove the white protector, take out the spark plug boot protector and open it to spread its lubricant across the screw area of the new spark plug.
- Anti-Seize Lubricant is used to allow for easy spark plug removal in the future.
- Make sure you tighten enough to minimize the risk of the spark plug being removed from the engine.
- Fit your new spark plug into the socket, and insert it into the cavity.
- Tighten the spark plug by pushing the wrench away from you, doing so until it's completely screwed in.
- To avoid damaging the spark plug while tightening it, start by screwing in the plug with your hands, then add the wrench handle and tighten until it's secure.
- Insert the ignition coil back into the cavity, plug in the connector, and screw in the bolt to secure it.
