This guide will show you how to replace a battery in a Hyundai Kona and Santa Fe FOB, which is needed to unlock/lock your vehicle and easily access it. - After removing the key blade, locate the slot or indentation.
- Insert a flathead into the slot and gently twist to open the key fob.

- Carefully lift the cover to reveal the internal components.

- Use a non-metallic tool or your hand to gently pry out the old battery.
- Dispose of the old battery following local regulations.

- Place the new battery into the designated slot with the correct polarity.
- Ensure the battery is securely in place.

- Align the cover with the key fob and press down to snap it into place.
- Ensure the key fob is securely closed.
- Slide the key blade back into its slot until it clicks into place.

- Press any button on the key fob to verify that the new battery is functioning.
- If the light blinks on the front of the fob key, the battery replacement is successful.
