- Slide the lever on the back of the key down and pull out the emergency key from the bottom.

- Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully separate the back of the key from the front by inserting it between the two shell pieces.

- Locate the battery and gently pry it out of place using the flathead screwdriver.
- Remove the old battery.
- Take your new battery and insert it, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up.
