2016 Dodge Grand Caravan Air Filter Replacement

  • Open the glove box and empty its contents.
  • To access the cabin air filter, you need to drop the glove box door. Look for the side tabs or stoppers on both sides of the glove box.
  • Gently push in on both sides of the glove box to release the stoppers and allow the glove box to drop down further.

  • Once the glove box is lowered, you should see a rectangular cover behind it. This is the cabin air filter cover.
  • The cover has clips holding it in place. Gently unclip the cover.

  • Pull out the old cabin air filter.
  • To install the new one properly, note the filter's orientation (airflow direction).

  • Insert the new cabin air filter into the compartment, ensuring it is oriented correctly according to the airflow direction indicated on the filter.

  • Replace the cabin air filter cover and secure it with clips.
  • Lift the glove box back into position and reconnect the dampener arm if applicable.
  • Push in on the sides of the glove box to re-engage the stoppers.
