- Use a 5/16 socket or wrench to remove the two screws that secure the taillight shell.

Got a Ford F-250/350 that needs its taillight shell reflective shell replaced? If so you've come to the right place! This is a brief guide to help guide you through the process of swapping this part out with simple language and straight forward instructions.

Step-by-step instructions

- To remove fixture completely place your hands in same position as in the picture and pull with moderate force.
- Use an additional set of hands if needed.
- Remember where to locate pin slots for new shell installment.

- Twist the upper bulb mount to the right and remove it from the shell.

- Twist the lower bulb mount to the right and remove it from the shell.

- The remainder of the guide details reassembly.
- Reinstall each bulb by aligning with corresponding slots, and lock them in place by twisting them to the left.

- Align all four pins and insert them into the housing.
- It may take a few tries but its important to align all 4 pins or you could risk bending or damaging components within the housing.
- Once aligned, evenly place your hands on top and bottom to apply even pressure along the shell and click it into place.
- If successful the taillight should stay in place without needing assistance.

- Replace the mounting screws.
