This is a simple, easy-to-follow guide for replacing the cabin air filter in a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu.

- Press on both sides of the glove box to release it.
- Lower the glove box to reveal the air filter compartment.

- Push up on the damping latch and pull it out.

- Unlatch both ends of the filter door and open it to reveal the old filter.
- Pull out the old cabin filter and throw it away.
- Insert the new filter.
- Be sure to insert it so the airflow follows the correct direction, as indicated by the arrows on the filter.
