Alfa Romeo Giulietta Cabin Air Filter Replacement

It's time to change the cabin air filter; let's go through the few simple steps to replace it together.

  • First, we need to remove a couple of plastic parts that cover the compartment containing the filter.
  • Using only your hands, pry behind this panel to detach it, so you can also see the part underneath.

  • To make the next step easier, I recommend also disconnecting the top cover held by these black plastic inserts.

  • Push down on this door to open it.
  • Remove the cover.

  • Now we can remove the old filter.
  • Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt and larger debris from inside the filter housing.
  • Insert the new filter in the correct position.
  • There should be arrows on the filter indicating the airflow direction. Therefore, the filter must be inserted into the housing with the arrows pointing from the engine toward the inside of the passenger compartment.
  • At this point, perform the steps in reverse order to close and reassemble everything.
