- Apply force to the right side of the hook in order to release the hook from the hood.

- Open the hood, apply the hood support pole, and apply forward force to the housing latch to release the housing box.

- Apply force to the second housing latch and lift the cover to release the housing unit.

- Remove the old/used filter from the unit and replace it with a new one, ensuring that the filter is inserted in the same direction that it was taken out.

- Attach the housing cover back to its original point and secure it using the two latches released in steps 3 and 4.

- Close the hood of the car and apply pressure with both hands until the hook has fully latched back to the car.
