2011–2015 Lincoln MKX Tail Light Assembly Replacement
This guide shows how to diagnose and replace the tail light assembly on a 2011–2015 Lincoln MKX. The procedure involves removing two mounting bolts, disconnecting the electrical connector, and installing a replacement assembly.
These vehicles use integrated LED tail light assemblies rather than replaceable bulbs. The tail light assembly contains the brake light, running light, and turn signal functions. Because LED failures are less common, first confirm that the tail light is not functioning and check the corresponding fuse before replacing the assembly.
A faulty tail light may appear dim, fail to illuminate, or stop working entirely. Replacing the tail light assembly restores proper rear lighting and improves vehicle visibility and safety.
