How to Replace a Tail Light Bulb in a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado

If the taillight bulb on your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado has burned out, follow this guide on how to replace it.

  • Lower the tailgate.

  • Unscrew both 20 mm-long T15 Torx screws indicated in the pictures.

  • Grab the headlight housing from either side and pull firmly outward to remove.

  • Twist the bulb socket on the inside of the housing counterclockwise to remove.

  • Hold the socket and bulb with opposite hands and pull outwards to remove the bulb.

  • Remove the replacement bulb from the packaging.

  • Line up the new bulb with the socket and push firmly to install.

  • Line up the socket tabs with the hole in the housing and twist clockwise to secure in place.

  • Line up the housing on the truck and push firmly to secure it in place.

  • Replace both 20 mm-long T15 Torx screws in the housing and tighten them.
