2012 Chevrolet Equinox Cabin Air Filter Replacement

Roughly every 10,000 miles or 1 year of a car's lifetime, the cabin air filter gets dirty with allergens, dirt, and even bugs. You need to replace it periodically to ensure you breathe in clean air from the air conditioning system. This guide teaches you how to replace the air filter on your second generation equinox, specifically the 2012 model year.

This is a very simple repair and does not require any tools. There is no risk of damage to the system or injury to yourself.
