- Slide the ring up the tube.

- Unplug the cable from the air filter.

- Pull the intake tube off of the air filter cover.

- Unscrew two Phillips screws located behind the air filter.

- Lift the air filter cover up, starting from the back end, making sure to release them from the hinges on the front end.

- Remove the air filter.
