- The engine air filter housing is located at the front of the engine bay, between the engine and the radiator.
- Open the lid of the filter housing by releasing the metal clips along the edge of the lid.
Replacing your Volvo's engine air filter is one of the easiest things you can do to keep your engine healthy and breathing right. Check your engine air filter at every oil change and replace it when it is dirty, usually around every 12,000 miles.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
